OFFICE HOURS AND CLASS HOURS

SIKAT Tutorial and Review Center’s regular office hours are from 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Monday to Saturday. SIKAT maintains a skeletal workforce during the COVID pandemic. Face-to-face transactions are suspended at this time. Inquiries are entertained through phone, email, and Facebook messenger. Payments are received through online banking and other offsite options.

Offsite/online review classes are held at various days and times of the week. Please check our website for the schedule details of the program you are enrolling in. The meeting room for review classes is usually opened 10-15 minutes before the start of the class. Occasionally, classes may extend for up to thirty (30) minutes longer.

ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance in sessions is required and expected. In case of illness or any unforeseen event that would cause conflict with the student’s review session, he/she must inform SIKAT ahead of time through any of our communication lines. A student may request a video recording of the class he/she missed. Students below 18 years of age are expected to have a guardian nearby while online classes are ongoing.

REVIEW SCHEDULE AND REQUESTS TO TRANSFER CLASSES

The review schedule released to the student is subject to change with prior notice. In case of changes in the schedule due to unforeseen events, SIKAT will notify the student ahead of time. However, if the student would like to change his/her review class to a different batch because of the conflict in the new review schedule, he/she must write a letter of intent to SIKAT indicating his/her reasons/explanation. The letter must be signed both by the student and his/her guardian, if the student is below 18 years of age

In the case of poor internet connectivity or internet connection interruptions in the part of the host (SIKAT), make-up sessions will be scheduled if needed or necessary. Review sessions are automatically suspended in times of natural calamities

A student who decides to drop the course after the 4th session will be charged the full program rate. In this case, the equivalent of the payment received is TRANSFERABLE AND CONSUMABLE.

MEETING ROOM BEHAVIOR

All students are expected to wear appropriate clothing while in the meeting room. They must turn their video on to keep them connected with the coach and other students. They are expected to participate in the meeting. When not speaking, students must mute themselves to prevent background noise from distracting others in the meeting. For the best audio experience, students are recommended to use headsets or earphones.

STUDENT ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION

Students and/or guardians can track their progress through the “Progress” button of the NUADU app, if the program uses it. Should the student wish to have his/her progress interpreted or explained, he/she can set an appointment with SIKAT’s Academic Coordinator.
